The Business of Jewelry Roundtable Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in The Business of Jewelry Roundtable (“Roundtable”), an initiative organized by Hill & Co. Consulting Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with registered number 10872698 and whose registered office is located at Onyx House, 12 Phoenix Business Park, Avenue Close, Birmingham, B7 4NU (“Company,” “we,” or “us”). By applying for, accepting, or renewing membership in the Roundtable, you (“Member” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Access
1.1. Private Membership
The Roundtable is a private, membership-based program and is not open to the general public. Participation is by invitation or approved application only.
1.2. Session Schedule
Membership grants access to six (6) live virtual sessions annually, held approximately every other month in May, July, September, November, January, and March. Session dates are communicated in advance via email.
2. Participation and Use
2.1. Session Format
Sessions are conducted via Zoom in a meeting format. All members may unmute, have cameras on, and participate at their discretion. Participation is encouraged but not required.
2.2. Recordings
Members will receive access to private recordings of each session for internal reference only. These recordings are confidential and may not be shared, excerpted, transcribed, or distributed.
2.3. Confidentiality
By participating, you agree not to record, reproduce, screenshot, transcribe, or distribute any part of a session. This includes, without limitation, uploading excerpts to social media or other digital platforms. All information shared in the Roundtable is considered confidential under the Chatham House Rule: Members may use information obtained but may not attribute it to any individual or organization unless explicitly permitted.
3. Code of Conduct
3.1. Chatham House Rule
Members agree to maintain the confidentiality of all discussions. No identities, affiliations, or quotations may be publicly disclosed without prior written consent.
3.2. Professional Standards
Members shall:
Express views in a personal capacity, not on behalf of any organization;
Engage respectfully and professionally with others;
Speak one at a time and use provided tools (e.g., virtual hand-raising) to contribute to the conversation.
3.3. Breach of Conduct
Any breach of these standards may result in immediate revocation of access, without refund, at the discretion of the Company.
4. Membership Fees and Billing
4.1. Monthly Membership
You may subscribe on a monthly basis at a rate of $165/month. Monthly memberships are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically every 30 days unless cancelled. You may cancel your membership at any time through your account or by notifying us at roundtable@hillandco.co.
4.2. Annual Membership
You may subscribe annually at a discounted rate of $1,740/year (equivalent to $145/month). Annual plans are billed in full at the beginning of each 12-month term and renew automatically unless cancelled in advance.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1. Monthly Plans
You may cancel your monthly membership at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial-month refunds are provided.
5.2. Annual Plans
Annual memberships reflect a discounted rate in exchange for a one-year commitment. Refunds are not available for annual plans except as set forth below.
5.3. Grace Period for Annual Plans
If you cancel your annual membership within seven (7) days of initial payment, you may request a full refund. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [insert contact] within this period. After the seven-day window, no refunds will be issued.
5.4. Cancellation Process
To cancel, you must log into your member account or contact [insert support email]. Cancellation will only apply to future billing cycles. You will retain access through the end of your current billing period.
6. Ownership and Intellectual Property
6.1. Company Materials
All session content, recordings, materials, and communications are the intellectual property of the Company and may not be reproduced, redistributed, or repurposed without written permission.
6.2. Member Contributions
By speaking or contributing during a session, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, and share your contributions solely for internal documentation or replay access to other members.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Participation in the Roundtable is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The Company does not guarantee any specific outcomes or benefits from membership.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your participation in the Roundtable.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [insert jurisdiction: e.g., England and Wales / State of New York], without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of [insert jurisdiction].
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email or through your member account, and continued participation after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
